Barberà del Vallès is located within Barcelona’s Metropolitan Area, in the county of Valles Occidental.
The city has a strong industrial character. Specifically, there is an extensive industry network of SME’s and Micro-SME’s.
We currently have a population of 31,000 inhabitants and one industrial area formed by five Business & Industry Estates: four are dedicated to Business and Industry and one to Services, giving the city a powerful economical and social vitality.
Cumulatively, its strategic position close to Barcelona between Highways AP-7 and C-58 - which are amongst the most important ones in the country -, its high performance regarding product supply, and its constant evolution and drive give the city a privileged location to build up a strong role as an economical and business platform in Catalonia.
Nevertheless, to remain competitive, not only it is necessary to improve and innovate but also to create new projects and face new challenges. Therefore, action is being taken to achieve so, for instance, the construction of Logistic Centre Can Ravella or Can Salvatella’s parking space.
All these initiatives are being supported by ACTIVIDADES INTEGRADAS S.A., a public company dependent on Barberà del Vallàs Council, in charge of the economical promotion and local growth by enhancing business networking. Ana del Fargo – Barberà del Vallàs City Major - sits the Presidency assisted by City Councillor Xavier Garces.
Moreover, our goal is to make available the right services and tools to assist companies in increasing their competence.
Thus, we also trust in business centre NODUS BARBERA, a facility that provides us with a Meeting Centre (“Centre de Trobades”) and a Corporation Centre (“Centre d’ Empreses”), altogether shaping a modern business site by means of two remarkable buildings and a green area, located in the very centre of the city’s economical activity.
